Schools

The Virtual Puppet Theatre has been tested with school children in the COGS-lab and at a number of schools in Sussex.

The schools are:

Ilford and Kingston C of E School, Lewes; Patcham County Infants School, Brighton; Western road C.P. School, Lewes; Coldean Infants School, Brighton. 

The age range of children in the schools is 4 to 7 or 4 to 11 years old and they are all state schools with an intake of children from their immediate areas - three urban and one rural. Selection of children for participation in the studies is done with the collaboration of class teachers. Appropriate consent forms for participation have been collected in line with the ethical guidelines of the British Psychological Society and the University of Sussex.
