The 3DVDM project aims at exploiting the possibilities that immersive 3D VR technology may provide to Visual Data Mining, and then adapt the data processing methods to this. Focus is on the creation of visualizations of exploring data using VR Media Lab's VR facilities and on the implementation of a novel VR software framework for creating VR applications, called VR++. This software framework is used as the basis for the 3DVDM system.
